[edit] John de Lancie Sr.'s date of death
The article states, "John de Lancie's father, of the same name, was principal oboist of the Philadelphia orchestra for many years. He died in 2001." I heard that he died May 17, 2002 at the age of 80. Q0 18:00, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Agent Darkbooty in Invader Zim?
Was John the voice of Agent Darkbooty on Invader Zim? It sounds a lot like him in a couple of the episodes.--Azathar 04:58, 25 August 2005 (UTC)
- Yes. According to IMDB, he did the voice for Agent Darkbootie / Darkbootie twice. PrometheusX303 00:58, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
I believe he and a few other Trek actors (including Jennifer Lien) got together to move their way into voice acting, and went on to help their fellow actors from Star Trek get more voice work. Sorry, no references otherewise I'd post on the main page not here. Horkana

[edit] Serious Improvement Needed
Hi, I'm trying to improve this article because its the first article that I have found that I am appalled by. An editor has just copy pasted stuff directely off Startrek.com. If you are reading this and a bit more experienced at Wikipedia that I am then help out, and make John de Lancie happy! Jrgnet Talk 08:57, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Host for Compaq
I remember John de Lancie also was a host for new Compaq Presario owners, both on TV commercials and on interactive video introductions and technical assistance on the systems themselves. When you first powered on the system, de Lancie would pop up on the desktop and explain the features of the owners new Compaq system. Compaq no doubt chose de Lancie because their logo was a Q. His son did commercials for Dell. I thought this was interesting. 68.252.127.172 20:17, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Narrator credits
I'm not sure where Narrator credits should go. He's a narrator for some Discovery Channel shows, including "Conspiracy Test: The Oklahoma City Bombing," "Conspiracy Test: James Earl Ray Assassination of Martin Luther King," and "Inside the Bermuda Triangle." See here for confirmation from IMDb users. -Etoile 18:13, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
