It is doubtful if John Williams (Ab Ithel) (1811-1862) was an archdeacon. There was another John Williams (1791-1858), a classical scholar, who was archdeacon of Cardigan, and the first headmaster of Llandovery School. Tobias07 08:15, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Tobias07
