Spelling of Vesey. All the references in Sutton Coldfield spell the name Vesey, however Bishop of Exeter has the name as Veysey. Is there any determined preference between the two, and why? DWaterson 20:29, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

After browsing the net it seems that the spelling is Vesey. As the ward is Sutton Vesey. The school he founded is Bishop Vesey's Grammar and Vesey is inscribed on his tomb as well as in writings of the construction of the bridge at Water Orton and the establishment of Sutton Park. - Erebus555 12:16, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
