[edit] Thorp T-3B / Paulic T3B-1

This is to record references and information to help any further articles on early Thorp designs.

Aerofiles.com, under separate headings Boeing School, Paulic and Thorp, provides information and photos of the T-3B, T-5 and T-6. The T-3B is described as originally built as the XT3B registered NX21726, rebuilt as the T-3B-1 and re-registered NX6497C.

The aircraft is still registered in 2008 as N6497C designated by the FAA as "Low-Wing Metal T3B-1", aka Paulic T3B-1, and it is displayed at the Hiller Aircraft Museum at San Carlos California, May 2008, suspended from the hangar roof, marked "Boeing School of Aeronautics".

See also 1000aircraftphotos.com for WT Larkins photos of Paulic T-3B and XT3-B, airliners.net for a San Carlos shot of the T3B, but the Hiller Aircraft Museum website at hiller.org doesn't (yet) provide details of its T3B. PeterWD (talk) 23:28, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
