Maclean could simply have made a mistake in thinking he was an MP, and Ancestry.com is not exactly a reliable source, but it is an odd co-incidence that someone writing 26 years later provides significant information that Maclean does not about the same fellow, whilst making the same mistake. This subject has been raised in various talk pages and portals including Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK Parliament constituencies. Ben MacDui (Talk) 13:38, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
