[edit] Messianic Judaism?

I've heard that John Reuben is actually a Messianic Jew, rather than a Christian per se. But I don't have anything on hand to verify that. Just thought it was worth mentioning for whoever comes along later to add to the article. Mooveeguy 20:39, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

  • Thats in one of his songs, um "Place to Be" from his first album. To quote " look at me i got crazy fluffy little jewish hair

because i'm a jewish kid, call me the messianic everytime i grab the microphone it's lyrics like Tonic" http://www.christianlyricsonline.com/artists/john-reuben/place-to-be.html. 74.137.230.39 22:46, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

He is Jewish but he's a Christian none-the-less.

I am the writer of this page, and I only own one album of his, the latest as of yesterday. What I have contributed is not guarenteed to be correct. Please revise my submission for finer quality.

Perhaps it ought to be pointed out somewhere that the guy is basically spoofing the whole "wigger" phenom, a la Ali G? (Or maybe the writer above didn't know?)

He is just saying that because its his "ethnicity" (even though i dont think that being jewish is a race i think its just a religion) anyway Mr. Zappin is very much a christian.

  • I think it should be mentioned, that Judaism is more than a religion. To Jews, its a way of life, and is their ethniticity. Thats why its possible for some Jews to deny the truth behind OT scriptures and still be Jewish. 74.137.230.39 18:14, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Album Link?

I changed the title of his next album from "Word of Mouth" to "Word of Mouth (John Reuben Album)", so that the link would link to the article about the new album instead of what word of mouth means in general. Is there any way to say "Word of Mouth" yet link to the album article? If so, then could some one add it for me? I don't know how. Also, if it is not possible, then say which should be put.
