They married when he was 20 and he died at 27. Does anyone know how they managed 7 children so quickly? Twins? Parsnip13 13:27, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
The Custises had one daughter probably stillborn, three daughters who lived to adulthood (born in 1776, 1777, and 1779), one set of twin daughters who died shortly after their birth in 1780, and one son (born 1781) who lived to adulthood. Jacky Custis's widow remarried and had another seven children at least. GeoWPC 14:52, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
