Employees John Myers has worked with many people from the UK radio industry. Among them BBC Radio 1 reporter Steve Blears. Reporter Steve worked with Myers at the DJ's first station launch CFM Radio in Carlisle, Cumbria UK. It's understood they parted company soon afterwards because of a dispute after Blears was asked to walk on hot coals for a car park charity event. Steve Blears went on to work for Independent Radio News IRN , the legendary BBC GLR and BBC Radio 1

"Team" Although not used on air the catch phrase "team" is one regularly used as part of the John Myers management style. "fetch us a kitkat team" and "You've not reached your sales targets team", are regular banter used by Myers.
