Talk:John Lubbock (conductor)

Why was the previous talk page deleted?!?!?!!!

I have posted this article AGAIN because it was written by a member of staff at the Orchestra of St John's, the orchestra which John Lubbock founded.

The text has NOT been copied from another website. The website which is quoted as being a copy has in fact used the biography written BY THE ORCHESTRA OF ST JOHN'S.

This article is being submitted by a member of staff at the Orchestra of St John's, therefore we hold copyright of the material being sumitted.

PLEASE WOULD SOMEONE ACKNOWLEDGE THIS BEFORE JUST DELETING IT AGAIN. Or at least give me some explanation of what I am doing wrong??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vgecko2 (talkcontribs) 13:33, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

The previous version was deleted under policy that work appearing on other websites can't be reproduced on Wikipedia unless permission has been given. The template currently on the page gives specific instructions as to how to sort out this issue. TrulyBlue (talk) 13:41, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
PS, please be aware of the policies on Conflict of Interest when creating pages concerning an organisation or person with whom you are associated. I have placed various other tags on the article concerning issues of wikipedia policy. Other good places to look may be How to write a great article and the Manual of Style.
