Points of contention between this entry and the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography (DNB) at http://www.oxforddnb.com/view/article/16297?docPos=7

  1. This entry states he was admitted to St John's Cambridge in 1802. The DNB says November 1801
  2. DNB states Lee was president of the Astronomical Society from 1861-2. This entry states 1861 - 1863
  3. DNB states Lee founded the British Meteorological Society in 1830. This entry states it was 1850. According to http://www.rmets.org/about/briefhistory.php, the DNB is incorrect on this fact.

Regarding point 2 above, the Royal Astronomical Society list of past presidents states Lee was president from 1861-1863 strongly implying the DNB is incorrect on this fact. http://www.ras.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=766&Itemid=0
