I still think this is an irrelevant article and i don't understand why the "no/little context" and "unsourced" tags were removed either. - A Shade Of Gray 21:54, 12 August 2006 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mahdiislam (talk • contribs)
- The founders of a university are normally notable, and the source is now indicated. See the link under Reference. It is difficult to create a full biography of someone who has been dead for more than a century. TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 22:10, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

- I don't think founders of a university are notable, especially when there is only one sentence about him and that sentence is found in the "Marshall University" article. About it being "difficult to create a full biography of someone who has been dead for more than a century" I'll let you read the articles which are more than two sentences about a person who has been dead for more than a century. I still feel there is no point in having a two-sentence article of which one doesn't refer to the article title and the other is on the "Marshall University" article. - A Shade Of Gray 09:46, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
