[edit] Stopped directing in the early 1990s

Could someone explain why he has stopped directing in the early nineties ? 82.120.248.44 20:00, 15 July 2005 (UTC)

I've heard that because of his success with Home Alone, he figured writing movies was better than directing. --BLuToRsE 01:29, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes, but writing takes less effort and work than directing, and he gets paid whether it's a flop or not. --MasterA113 13:35, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
