[edit] DOD

Did Howland die in 1672 or 1673? BenedictX 00:07, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

  • Ancestry.com says 1673. I know because I just found out I'm descended from him.--Bedford 06:49, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I believe it is that also. ...And I'm related to him too! Raden 23:38, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
FWIW, I recall reading that Howland has more descendants than any other Pilgrim. Also that some descendants of Howland forget that they are also descended from the Tilleys. ·:·Will Beback ·:· 04:53, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
I remember speaking to John Howland Society member who said there are more than 2.5 million descendants of John Howland. Good thing they threw him the rope when he went overboard! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.178.143.62 (talk) 19:12, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Richard Warren's supposed to have liek 11 million, but nobody knows exact numbers for any of them. Coemgenus 19:18, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Brothers

Should we talk about his two brothers in the descendants list, because one brother's descendant is William Churchill, and another is a U.S. president or two (forget exactly who). 75.83.141.204 (talk) 00:03, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

What's the source? ·:· Will Beback ·:· 00:32, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
John alone has many thousands of descendants many of whom are notable. The current list is long enough. Staib (talk) 02:16, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
