Category killer - If a Category Killer dominates its area, why are there many stores listed per category? There should be clear criteria for when a store is included, otherwise this just becomes an advertising page.

[edit] Wholesale Club's founding year

Just to point out, the Discount Store News's obituary article says that the Wholesale Club of Indianapolis was founded in 1982, while Laura Rowley's book, On Target, says it was founded in 1983. Laura Rowley's book is also more pessimistic towards the guy, too. Tuxide 05:35, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

After looking into it further, the book On Target is citing from this Chicago Tribune article: Wal-Mart acquires club rival. Unfortunately you have to pay for the damn thing to read it all, suckage. Tuxide 22:51, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

The Wholesale Club, Inc. was founded in 1982 and opened its first warehouse in February, 1983. There are many inaccurancies in Laura Rowley's book with regards to the true story of Geisse's founding of Target Stores. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tjgtjgtjg (talk • contribs)
