[edit] Notability

I note that an anon editor (User:81.151.13.200) has put up the {{notability}} tag on the John Days article. I don't see any reason for that: the section of the notability guidelines dealing with sportspeople suggests that "Sportspeople ... who have played in a fully professional league ... or at the highest level in mainly amateur sports or other competitive activities that are themselves considered notable" are worthy of inclusion. Days played twice at this level, and so qualifies; there's no "minimum number of appearances". The two external links given are from two of the three most well-known and reputable cricket sites, and most certainly count as reliable sources. Loganberry (Talk) 12:31, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
