Kevin Federline

Now that there is a match between John Cena and Kevin Federline on January 1st 2007. There should be a Kevin Federline Section added to the John Cena listing.

Asperger's Syndrome

The comment about John Cena having Asperger's Syndrome is not confirmed, IMDB have had requests to remove the information, as like Wikipedia, anyone can add to it.

People may be putting that thinking how Cena acts on TV, is how he acts in real life.

Untill there is proof, it should be removed. To all haters of John Cena out there, I just want to tell you that he is here to stay. He is hot and all of us in Africa who watch RAW love him.

That's vandalism. They keep doing that to praise Alex Varkatzas and Matt Heafy. The vandals might be goth and are just saying that. Find an administrator to block them, quick! --D.F. "Jun Kazama Master" Williams 18:01, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
First of all, no. Assume good faith and all that. I added a note to the section, it should be fine.-- bd (talk to me) (watch me) 18:29, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

I read on another page he's got Asperger's Syndrome, it was on this special school which listed celebrities who've got certain disabilities. I forgot its URL BUT my point is the history of the edits has this quote "imdb.com has been lied to" how does Bdve know that. DaffyDuck619 P.S: Reading that bit of news was great for me, I've got it and I was esctatic to hear he had it.

It was prety widely debunked throughout the IWC when it hit IMBd, and it has since been removed from there. If you remember this site, and if it's credible (not citeing IMDb), I'll personally re-add it.-- bd (talk to me) (watch me) 17:16, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

top 500 2006

John Cena doesn't win the top 500 in 2006, the results hasn't been published ! It was the same in others PWI pages, I delete every mistakes (like Cena winning the top 500 in 2003-2004-2005-2006...). I don't like Cena, but Wikipedia is not about opinions but about FACTS ! The article is lock ? The best thing to do. (11 september 2006)

Lock again?

Hey whoever is in charge of Wikipedia, i got 2 questions: How is the reactions Cena is getting from fans now? If you know how they are, can you add that information to the John Cena Article? - jigsawkill550

Hey where's the bit of info of Cena's match with Jericho at Summerslam 2005? - jigsawkill550

Not notable -Bdve 00:45, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

Wether your are a John Cena fan or not was it really necessary to remove the Fan Backlash section. It is what best compliments Cenas current character and storylines.

Yes, it was, because now it is a part of the article proper. - Bdve

Where is the the fan backlash section? Why was it removed? It became a major part of Cena's storylines throughout 2006, and began rather publicly at SummerSlam 2005. That's a joke, right? Bdve

Are we going to have to request another lock on this page? It's been bandalized 15 times today alone. - Bdve 21:40, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes. --Mikedk9109 22:27, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Done & Done
Bdve – I think you mean vandalized – although I'm sure it was just a typo. :-) Seriously, why do people want to add nonsense to these pages? Cena isn't all that controversial anyway for this to be that easy of a mark (no pun intended) for vandals. (sigh) I know it's a silly question, but still ... [[Briguy52748 01:31, 23 August 2006 (UTC)]]
I did. People vandalize this page because they're immature and can't get out of their smark mindset, or worse their mark mindset. As I'm sure you know, if you change a wikipedia article to say something like "He got screwed out of the championship, and will win it back at (next PPV)", well by god it will come to pass. Same thing goes with "He's so gay he enjoys the taste of penis!" Put it enough times, he'll come out of the closet on the next RAW. - Bdve 01:39, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Wait... you're calling Cena gay, Bdve? "Coming out of the closet?"
But yeah. I've said it before: people need to grow up. Blacklist 21:00, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Did you read the whole thing? Or just the last line? - Bdve 23:35, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Sorry. I got confused. And RKZ, last I need is you telling me something I was already told. Blacklist 05:31, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

...Was I addressing you? No, I was speaking in general, it is'nt my fault if your grudge against me forces you to blur relaity and make up things that imply I was talking about you, you woul'dnt be the first person I'd even pick to cover this article because you are biased towards Cena- Dr. R.K.Z

I was referring to you telling me to read his whole post

And since you're going there, I wouldn't pick you, because you are biased against Cena. Besides, your idea would never happen. Blacklist 18:17, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm not actually, otherwise I would have changed the article before it was locked from it's present version, which I respect, as it's fair and balanced.

It's funny that you recently sent a clear THREAT to my usertalk page promoising retaliation and accusing me of dragging you into a flame war when attempts to use the same comments on me show that you want one to happen, as well as other of your crass comments here about Cena haters in general.

-Dr. R.K.Z

At this rate, even though I don't count myself a fan of Cena, maybe it would be more appropriate to have a specific moderator, a fan of his or wrestling, as long as they were unbiased, to cover this article exclusivly, like a "perma-lock" edited by one specific person.

-Dr. R.K.Z

I totally agree with making these wrestling pages locked and only letting certain people editing them..etc - BTW will the cena wiki be reverted back to normal ? mikecraig 11:32, 24 August 2006

I take it you were talking about the blanking by Dogman400, which has since been fixed. I've also taken out the events of last mondays RAW which are not notable on the Cena page. At least not yet anyway. I don't even know how I ended up watching and patroling the Cena page, I'm not particularly a fan (or a hater) of his, it just happened. Ours is not to question why, I guess. I've recently had a ton of much much needed help from [[user:Mikedk9109}Mikedk9109]]. - Bdve 03:21, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

I hate this article now. It only covers the positive side of John Cena. Why not write about the people booing him? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.230.246.142 (talkcontribs) .

It's there, but if you just cherry pick what you read then of course you won't see it. There's no reason, at all, for an entire section about people booing him. - Bdve

Would it be fair to mention at the end of the 2006 section that the polarized chants have continued to this day? Hybrid 04:57, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Exactly: I mean, Cena even got booed against Chris Masters tonight. A no-longer-'roided Masters, essentially meaning he's lost the only draw he had. When someone gets booed for attacking a-hoss-without-muscles, it's indeed quite noteworthy.
There, I added Edge's positive reactions to the last paragraph. Everyone happy? Bdve
Works for me, thanks Bdve. Hybrid 22:48, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Add the whole thing back! It started around Summerslam 05. Though the first was ECW 2005 when someone shouted **** Cena. I think we have a section called Fan support starting back from the Prototype daysKotenks 00:28, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Well, you're wrong. There is no "fan support" section and there's still no reason for an entire section that rivals the main body of the article in length about how he gets booed even though he's supposed to be a face. Especially when it can all be put into the arcticle as it is now. Go through the history and find pre-merger paged and compare them to now, the article looks a whole lot cleaner and makes a lot more sense. - Bdve 00:34, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Yet again this page has been vandilised I just reverted it back i think it should be locked again

pastie252 27 September 2006

There's an understatement. I already requested protection, let's see how long it takes.

Wtf?

Almost the entire article was remoed. Vandalism? Cosmic Larva 21:54, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Signature moves

The STF-U is a version of the STF, a Stepover-Toehold-Facelock, not a Stepover-Toehold-Sleeper. I fail to see how F can stand for sleeper.

It doesn't, and it is a sleeper. It is called the STF-U so that it can match with his F-U finisher. The F in STF-U is irrelevant. If you watch him performing the move, look at the position of his forearms, they will be next to the sides of his opponent's neck. This means that the move is a sleeper, not a facelock. THL 15:00, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Wrong! If you watch any Wrestler perform the STF you will see that their hands are locked in the same way that Cena's arms are when he does it, the fact that Cena's arms are positioned a little lower may be due to the fact that he doesn't have much experience as far as technical Wrestling is concerned and just a quick F.Y.I, a Sleeper hold is designed to render an opponent unconsious, not make them tap out, how many times has Cena won a match via a KO with the STF-U?

It's the STFU. Now some dufuses are changing my contribution that I've made on the article on John Cena.User:Pic Business

A facelock applies pressure around the face. A sleeper applies pressure to the sides of the neck. Seeing as Cena never touches his opponents face, and he just happens to have his arms in the correct position to cut off blood flow to the brain (definition of a sleeper), it is an STS. Whether or not he means to lock in a facelock (which I doubt), every time, consistently, he locks in an STS. An STS is what it is, so STS shall be listed in the article. BTW, if a wrestler is supposed to win a match with a blood choke, the opponent taps before they black out. Almost no one wins by KO anymore, no matter what move they are doing. THL 06:43, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

I suppose that's exactly the reason why Jerry Lawler passed out at ECW's One Night Stand rather than tapping out to the Tazzmission, huh?

One exception out of how many? Note the almost. THL 01:52, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

I don't know why there alot of dufuses here. it's the stfu but a dickhead comes & takes it off. that idiot will get caught & I'll report him & give him a message immeaditly.User:Axe Ghost

TLC MACTH at Unforgiven.

Ummm... Someone help me. Everytime I go into John Cena article and edit to put in stuff about Unforgiven 2006 some Dee-Dee-Dee deletes it! Why? I mean its been anounced!SUCK IT! 16:27, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Seriously, you're going to quote Carlos Mencia? It's almost like you want to be mocked.
DO NOT ADD WEEK BY WEEK EVENTS, RUMOURS OR SPECULATION. THIS INCLUDES ANNOUNCED MATCHES THAT HAVE NOT YET OCCURRED.
It's not a very difficult guideline to follow. Also it's WWE Unforgiven, not Unforgiven WWE. Bdve 16:51, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Death

PPV apperance information

What does everyone think about adding a section within the John Cena wiki (and can be done for others wrestlers) which lists the PPV appearances and outcome - makes it nice little addition I think. Mikecraig 23:55, 7 September 2006 (Australia)

Not necessary and will get incredibly long, especially since he became a headline guy and had been on every show in the last year or so. Important ppv matches are mentioned (and linked) in the body of the article. -Bdve 00:25, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Height

John Cena is 6'2 or 6'3. He was almost the exact same height as Triple H who is 6'4. Son of Kong

We use, and will continue to use, the official height given by WWE.com as per the pro wrestling project guidelines unless something truly compelling comes up to force a change. By compelling I mean an arrest where his height us given in the paperwork or a copy of a license or something like that. Otherwise we get people changing heights and (especially) weights on an almost daily basis. - Bdve 01:54, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
No,he actually isn't.He is 6'1 & weighs 248lbs.Pic Business
Cena's WWE profile lists him at 6'1", 240 lbs. The article should reflect that. - Chadbryant 03:15, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Oh yeah Chadbryant, the profile says he's 240lbs & when Lilian Garcia introduces John Cena when he makes his way to the ring, she says that he is 248lbs.& Lilian Garcia is wrong I think......businessman

Actually, Lilian Garcia is most probably right. However, since she has his LATEST weight, and this can and will fluctuate from show to show, using the weight stated on WWE.com makes the most sense, in my opinion. DannyBoy2k

Anyway lol, I think they don't update on his WWE profile but he gets some strength & fat by having some excersises at the gym. businessman

WWE exaggerates about all their wrestlers sizes.

Image

Is that main image used really fair use? The tag about "his image is a work of a U.S. military or Department of Defense employee, taken or made during the course of an employee's official duties." seemed a little odd.

It was most likely taken at WWE Tribute to the Troops, same as the Trish Stratus Photo 130.216.191.184 21:39, 1 October 2006 (UTC) ---This was posted by PhatePunk

John Cena's Signature Moves

Just a suggestion,

since the article is currently locked and I am unable to edit it myself, I would suggest that you might throw in a Fisherman Suplex into his signature moves. He seems to be incorporating that in there more.

It's in there: Freestyle / Protoplex (Swinging fisherman suplex or Jumping fisherman suplex) -->So sayeth MethnorSayeth back|Other sayethings

US Title photo and recent WWE Championship photo

Where did the photo of Cena with the US title go? Also why was the photo of him holding the title again at Unforgiven taken off?

TNA rumors

Why do people put up junk like rumours...unless there is a article regarding this matter dont put up something like that unless cited/confirmed...silly people out there! --Mikecraig 22:15, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

"Controversy"

Honestly, I really do think this merits a section: even JR is forced to address in his commentating that Cena will get mixed reactions-though not in those exact words-and just recently Montreal gave SHAWN MICHAELS more positive reactions than Cena. It took some very cheap pops from Edge in order to get the heat off Cena and onto him.

And at the very least his ECW One Night Stand 2006 reception should be noted, since ECW fans tend to have more of a "smark" attitude than the usual WWE crowds.

Read the article and you'll see that it's well noted. -- bd (talk to me) (watch me) 02:11, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, my mistake. This page is vandalised so much, I must've caught it at a bad time.

I felt I should add that the cult following bullcrap should be taking out. Jericho or Christian's 'cult' following wasn't the issue or else Cena still would not be booed. If its really that, I guess Umaga has a cult following, Triple H has a cult following and Edge has a cult following and the vast majority of people cheered for the heels over Cena in these matches. I hate the Samoa Joe ripoff Umaga with a passion but I was happy when Umaga beat Cena as it was the only clean loss I know Cena as of having in the last two years of his horrible push.

The fact of the matter is both Christian and Chris Jericho had very vocal minorities of the crown on their side, thus cult followings. As for Umaga and Samoa Joe...that's some serious TNA-mark thinking.-- bd (talk to me) (watch me) 04:48, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

He doesn't have enough fans to have a "cult following". He has no cult following. Everyone in general has mixed opinions about him. Some love him, some hate him. This is definately not a cult following.

Noo!!

You HAVE to be kidding me! Please tell me you are kidding. This is some sick joke.

The article is partially-locked AGAIN???

WHY the hell do people keep vandalizing this damn page so much? It's John Cena. Get OVER it, vandalists!

I am SO sick of checking the Cena page and seeing it blocked because of vandals-and i know the people who keep locking it have to be, too!

This is getting annoying. Vandals-can you possibly please stop?? PLEASE?!!?

WTF's all this crap about. Also, this isn't not for all this rubbish & crap. Also, there are some stupid people here. They say it's the sTF-u but it's actually the STFU. It's the FU & it says on Cena-Unleashed. God, how could that dufus possibly be this stupid? User:Pic Business

I don't know what it is about this topic that gets you so hot, but you need to calm down and stop with the personal attacks. It's unnecessary.-- bd (talk to me) (watch me) 15:16, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Is John Cena Albanian?

I know he has Italian Heritage, but is he Albanian too?

I don't know what John Cena is he can be a lil' bit of everything, but he is still cute!!!!!!!

You know what YOU HAVE INSPIRED ME TO VANDALIZE.

He isn't Albanian. His ancestors are Italians but he was born & grew up in West Newbury.User:Pic Business

bodybuilding didn't "pan out"?

Just wondering why he didn't continue pursuing this. Or possibly the reason he gave for giving it up.--68.102.37.191 02:37, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

He's never spoken about it in an interview, to the best of my knowledge, but differing sources have said he just quit and they his career stalled. This language seems the most neutral.-- bd (talk to me) (watch me) 03:29, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

That wouldn't suprise me, but if it isn't verifiable, it can't go in the article. The Hybrid 07:27, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
