[edit] first publication date

The date of 1917 given for the first appearance of John Carter in print doesn't agree with other Wiki articles which give 1911 or 1912.

All the dates are valid; the novel was written in 1911, first published in magazine form in 1912, and first published in book form in 1917. I have amended the text to eliminate the confusion. BPK 20:37, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Montezuma

I was just wondering if anyone knew if the cave in which he hid in Arizona was perhaps supposed to be the same cave Montezuma is in. Just a thought. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.155.198.100 (talk • contribs)

No. At least it is never alluded to in the book. You can read them online, if you like, to check for yourself. — Frecklefσσt | Talk 18:54, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
