[edit] Public figures and interviews

There's an unsourced an incorrect statement. Namely: "He takes the position that anyone who is a "public figure" needs to submit to being interviewed by journalists [4], and this has made him unpopular with some. [5]" Footnote 4 refers to a court case and has nothing to do with the person in question. I've edited accordingly.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.100.133.210 (talk • contribs) 12:44, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

The statement is NOT incorrect. I have restored it.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Reasonable reader (talk • contribs)
Here's the results of a look at the links used as citations in this part of the article.
At present, the article says:
Berlau is known for attacking various parts of the US government, such as the IRS [1]and Department of Homeland Security.[2]
He takes the position that anyone who is a "public figure" should be required to submit to being interviewed by journalists [3], and this has made him unpopular with some [4].
Between this and the text which 68.100.133.210 removed, we have the following links:
I don't see how these links are valid sources for some of the statement. Per WP:BLP, I'm replacing the two paragraphs with the following:
Berlau is known for strong criticism of parts of the U.S. government, such as the IRS,[5] which has made him unpopular in some quarters.[6]
Further edits are welcome, as long as all controversial claims are well-sourced.
