[edit] Note about portrait on Senate website

The portrait of Barrasso at http://www.senate.gov/pagelayout/senators/one_item_and_teasers/barrasso.htm is not public domain. It belongs to the state of Wyoming, as can be seen at http://legisweb.state.wy.us/2006/members/S27.htm. There will need to be detailed fair use rationale for this image, but it will probably be deleted as replaceable if it is uploaded again. --Tom (talk - email) 18:10, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

If this isn't fair use then I don't what is. It's not as if the state of Wyoming is going to demand royalties before a photo of its new U.S. Senator goes up in a completely not-for-profit encyclopedia. DanyaRomulus 22:16, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
It still doesn't change the fact that the image is copyrighted and has usage restrictions. If a free alternative could reasonably be found or created, then this image has to be removed. --Tom (talk - email) 02:57, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Iraq?

I know that a majority of Republicans support the war in Iraq, but what is his view? I am assuming he supports it, but could someone let me know? Politics rule 22:58, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
