Happy to consult & collaborate--that's how wiki works! I'm moderate on the "be bold," thing myself. I'll do it when it's a small subject and I can be pretty sure I know what I'm talking about, as is the case here. On larger and more debatable subjects, I'm more cautious. Still, I've been tripped up on small things I thought I knew about--that's also how wiki works. :-) RivGuySC 01:43, 24 May 2005 (UTC)

As usual, I defer to your superior judgement on this — thanks for replying (it's why I so often ask, and sometimes refuse to be bold)! Rlquall 04:40, 23 May 2005 (UTC)

Guess it could be a matter of opinion, but I'd say 1616 Church is not either adjacent or adjoining, because the Vanderbilt campus does not extend as far as Church St. When Gupton was a block off West End, actually facing the Athletic Garage, then I think the older language was appropriate. As far as the idea that the two were connected, all I can say is that I never heard that. RivGuySC 03:08, 23 May 2005 (UTC)

Anything wrong with saying that it is located adjacent to Vanderbilt? It is, and some people think there is some connection betwen the two due to the adjoining campuses and the fact that the old Henry Clay Alexander Hall on the VU campus, now demolished, was once Cosmpolitan Funeral Home.
