[edit] Name of the river
On the Waterford History article the river is referred to as 'St. John's River'. While I think that it is likely that the river was named after St. John's parish, ala Johnstown, John's bridge, John's Hill, etc., the OSI Waterford City map refers to the river merely as 'John's River'. Not sure what the authoritative source is for this. Merlante 11:12, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
