[edit] relationship

Johann Georg Megerle von Mühlfeld is mentioned in the NHM pages as 'younger son' of Johann Baptist Megerle, but johann carl is mentioned in the same page without any mention of relationship. i suppose it could mean that he is the older son of johann baptist, but i could not verify this. i could not even find out the birth year of j. baptist, to see if that fits. anyway, i *suppose* that he is the only one that made taxonomical descriptions, so i will link him, and not his brother Georg. --Sarefo 02:48, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] taxa

[1] says that Megerlia etc. were named after Johann Georg, but that seems to be false, as Johann Carl was the curator for molluscs. --Sarefo 03:17, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
