Johnovision

Johnovision was an original CBC talk and entertainment show for Canadian youth produced between 1996 and 2001. Hosted by Johnathan Torrens and directed by Richard Mortimer, Johnivision pioneered new ideas in youth programming in Canada, and along with other programs such as Street Cents and Degrassi demonstrated CBC's now distant presence amongst young Canadians.
Johnovision could be compared to the late-night CBC show The Hour, offering up information attractive to the younger generations.
[edit] Twenty Dollar Dare
One of the special segments of the show included the "Twenty Dollar Dare" where the host offered up a dare to anyone in the audience, who would be awarded $20 upon successful completion.
