Johnny Quilty

John "Johnny" Quilty (January 21, 1921 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - September 12, 1969) - was a Canadian professional ice hockey centre.
Quilty was born in Ottawa, Ontario. He played most of his career with the Montreal Canadiens during World War II. Johnny won the Calder Trophy in 1941. He finished his career in 1948 with the Boston Bruins when he suffered a compound fracture of his leg.
In 1991, Johnny was inducted into the Ottawa Sports Hall of Fame.[1]
