Johnny "No-Triggers" Owens (born 20 June 1977 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is the drummer for Heavy metal band Brown Brigade. He was recruited by Dave Baksh to join as the band's drummer, after Dave left Sum 41 to focus on Brown Brigade full-time.
Live, Johnny plays drums along with Cess Rock who joins him on another percussion instrument, in most times a Goblet drum.
Brown Brigade's debut studio album Into the Mouth of Badd(d)ness was released September 18, 2007 and received mostly positive reviews, although released only in Canada and Japan.

Owens began playing drums at the age of 12, and got his first drumset at the age 13, then he learned playing by playing along to records, trying to copy the patterns and feel of his favorite drummers.
Since then he performed in such acts as Heavy metal act Blacktooth (1998-1999), Hip Hop act Linton Heights (2000-2002) and most recently Classic/Hard rock act Suckershot (2006-present) and Thrash/Heavy Metal band Brown Brigade (2006-present).

John's earlier influences include Tommy Lee, Mitch Mitchell, Nick Menza, Dave Lombardo and Vinnie Paul.

Owens also enjoys listening to artists such as The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Funk Brothers, The Police, Led Zeppelin, Steely Dan, Pantera, Cream, John Coltrane, The Meters, The Beatles, James Brown, Tool and Bob Marley.
He also enjoys movies such as Se7en, Four Rooms, The Godfather, Scarface, Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, Matrix and Fight Club.

He is also known as a respected drum teacher in Toronto, Canada, and he is currently performing and touring Canada with Brown Brigade.

On April 2008, 2008, he joined Brown Brigade bandmate Cess Rock's Experimental Funk project "The Quits".
