Johnny P. Herrera (born September 11, 1966 in Denver, Colorado) is an American racecar driver. He is best known for racing in the World of Outlaws sprint car racing series.

Herrera began his sprint car racing career in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1986 Johnny was named World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year. Herrera's career in the World of Outlaws has lasted twenty two years. Johnny has several feature event wins with the World of Outlaws as well as wins in USAC and ASCoC competitions.

Herrera has driven for numerous car owners in the World of Outlaws and is currently driving the Herrera Family 45x Sprint Car owned by his parents Joe and Martha.

The driver has recently raced in non-winged racercars in the United States, and he has won several features.

Johnny Herrera currently (2007) leads points in both SCOA (a winged sprint car series based in Arizona) and Hollywood Hills Speedway Non winged class.

Johnny is married to the former Carla Roynon, has three step children Tyler, Tori, and Taylor. Herrera wed Carla November 2, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
