Johnny Colan was an American boxer born in Queens, New York.

Johnny started off his career with a second round knockout of Jay Paganelli. He won his next five fights (twice by knockout in the first round) until he lost to George Costulis by first round knockout. He would fight 9 more fights before he got a rematch with George Costulis, and managed to score a technical knockout in the fifth round. He won his next 9 fights before being outpointed by Izzy Redman. Afterwords, he began a winning streak of 13 wins, before losing by technical knockout to Tommy Tucker. He fought 40 more times, and managed a career of 60 wins (27 by knockout), 19 losses, and 2 draws.
