Johnie Fair & The Soul Searchers was an American band that performed from 1965 to 1966.

Based in Woodburn, Oregon Johnie Fair & The Soul Searchers joined the musicians union and began working for EJD Enterprises in a series of shows at the Salem Armory Auditorium in Salem. These shows included opening for The Liverpool Five, and The Shindogs with Delaney Bramlett (who would later marry Bonnie Bramlett and form the band Delaney & Bonnie). Additionally, the band worked local sock hops and dances throughout the Willamette Valley.

The founding members were Jay (Sandy) Averill (rhythm guitar and vocals), Bill Coleman (vocals), David Higginbotham (lead guitar and vocals), Rodney Kahut (drums), Bernie Manion (bass and vocals), and Neal White (piano and organ). Later members were Jerry Woelke (replacing Jay Averill, after he moved to California), and Mac Sessums (replacing Bill Coleman).
