John van Reenen

John van Reenen (born March 26, 1947) is a retired discus thrower from South Africa, who is best known for setting the world record in the men's discus event in the spring of 1975. He did so on March 14, 1975 at a meet in Stellenbosch, throwing 68.48 metres.
