John de Sutton V

John Sutton V, (1380--29 August 1406) was born at Coleshill, Warwickshire. He married to Constance, the daughter of Walter Blount, the marriage being performed by Sancha de Ayala, the daughter of Diego Gomez de Toledo, mayor of Toledo.

John Sutton V was the father of the first lord Dudley, who bore the same name.

John Sutton V's father was John Sutton IV (1361-1395), of Dudley Castle who wed Alice de Spencer of Carlington.

John Sutton IV was the son of John Sutton III, (1339-c.1370) and Catherine de Stafford (1340-1361). Catherine was the daughter of Ralph Stafford, 1st Earl of Stafford and Margaret de Audley.
