John Young (Scottish politician)

John Young (born 1930, Glasgow) is a Scottish politician. He was a Conservative and Unionist Member of the Scottish Parliament for the West of Scotland from 1999 to 2003.

He was previously leader of Glasgow District Council from 1977 to 1979. In the Scottish Parliament he was Conservative Deputy Spokesperson on Transport and Environment and was a member of the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. He retired at the 2003 election.
