John White (Maryland politician)

John White is currently the Chairman and CEO of Compass Marketing, Inc., and was the Republican nominee for U.S. Congress in 2006 in Maryland's 3rd congressional district to replace incumbent Democrat Ben Cardin, who successfully ran for the U.S. Senate. His opponents were Democrat John Sarbanes and Libertarian Charles Curtis McPeak. White was defeated by Sarbanes on November 7, 2006 by a 2-to-1 margin.

John White holds a Masters Degree in Business from the University of Baltimore and an Undergraduate Degree from Towson State University.
