Wayne Shroj (born March 23, 1982) in Mareeba is an Australian football (soccer) player, who currently plays for FCU Politehnica Timişoara in Romania's Liga 1. He is a defensive midfielder. Between summer of 2006 and February 2007, Shroj and team-mate Abiodun Agunbiade didn't play a single official game, as they claimed their contract with FC Naţional had run out at the end of the 2005/2006 season. After seven months of controversial court hearings and delays, the final decision favoured the players who then signed with the Timişoara based team.
