John Walker is a professional rugby league player for European Super League club Wigan Warriors. His position of choice is centre.
John is a talented young rugby league player in 2006 he played most of his rugby for the Wigan Warriors Academy although in 2005 he was given a 2 year first team contract at Wigan but he is yet to play a first team match for Wigan with Darrell Goulding and Sean Gleeson been given the opportunities before him. John was selected for the 2004 Academy Origin Series. He was signed to the Wigan Warriors Academy form Orrell St James ARLFC. In 2004 he was awarded the Under-18s Billie-Joe Edwards and Craig Johnson Memorial Player of the Year trophy.
For 2007 John joined Swinton Lions on a years loan.
