John Usher (cricketer)

John Usher was a first class cricketer who played one match for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1888. A slow left arm orthodox spinner, he took 2 wickets for 31 and scored 7 runs for twice out in his match against Marylebone Cricket Club. M.C.C. won the game by 103 runs. He was born on February 26, 1859 in Templemore, Co Tipperary, Ireland and died on August 8, 1905 in Haslingden, Lancashire.
