John Townshend, 1st Earl Sydney

John Robert Townshend, 1st Earl Sydney PC (9 August 180514 February 1890) was the son of John Thomas Townshend, 2nd Viscount Sydney.

He married Lady Emily Paget, daughter of Henry Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey, on 4 August 1832.

Lord Sydney died in 1890, childless, and all his titles became extinct.
