John Statz

John Statz is a folksinger/singer-songwriter, currently residing in Madison, WI. In 2007 he won the MAMA (Madison Area Music Awards) award for "Folk/Americana Album of the Year" for his 2006 album, Dusk Came Slow. He has played all over Wisconsin, the Midwest, and much of the United States, including cities such as Cleveland, Dallas, Kansas City, Chicago, Oklahoma City, and many more. John has opened for and shared the stage with performers such as Ben Kweller, Jeffrey Foucault, OM Trio, and has played the Wakarusa Festival in Lawrence, KS.
