John Simon (doctor)

Sir John Simon KCB, FRS, FRCS (1816-1904) was the second Chief Medical Officer, for Her Majesty's Government from 1855 - 1876.
He was the Medical Officer of Health for London from 1848-1858, permanent medical officer to the Board of Health between 1854-1858 and Medical Officer of the Department of Health from 1858-1876.
