The John Shastid House is located in the Pike County, Illinois city of Pittsfield. The Shastid House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a status bestowed upon the home on June 26, 2003. The Shastid House is one of twelve sites in Pike County listed on the Register and one of three in Pittsfield. The other two Pittsfield sites are Pittsfield East School and the Pittsfield Historic District. A few of Pike County's other sites include the address restricted Naples Mound 8 and New Philadelphia Town Site as well as the Massie Variety Store in New Canton and the Lyman Scott House in Summer Hill.
