John Conrad Russell, 4th Earl Russell (November 16, 1921 - December 16, 1987) was the eldest son of the famous philosopher and mathematician, Bertrand Russell and his second wife, Dora Black; great-grandson of the 19th century British Whig Prime Minister Lord John Russell; and half-brother of the historian Conrad Russell, who succeeded John as the 5th Earl Russell.
