John Rowan (Vietnam veteran)

John Rowan is the sixth National President of Vietnam Veterans of America. He was elected August 13, 2005 at the organization's Twelfth National Convention in Reno, Nevada.
He served as a linguist in the U.S. Air Force Security Service during the Vietnam War. Rowan was a founding member and the first president of VVA Chapter 32 in Queens, New York. He recently retired as an investigator for the New York City Comptroller's Office.
He lives in Middle Village, New York, with his wife, Mariann.
