John Rothmann

John Rothmann is a radio talk show host on KGO 810 AM in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, United States.

According to his biography posted by KGO 810 AM, he is a frequent lecturer on American politics and the Presidency, and has spoken at over 150 campuses throughout the United States, Canada, and Israel. He has been involved in many political campaigns on the national, state, and local levels, including Richard Nixon's in 1968. He has also published a wide range of articles on American political history, the Middle East, and education. John's personal love is his 15,000-volume library - one of the finest private libraries in the country - specializing in American political history and political biographies.

Rothmann is co-author of a book scheduled to be released on 24 June 2008: Icon of Evil: Hitler's Mufti and the Rise of Radical Islam

He hosts his weekend radio shows from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Pacific Time on Saturday mornings, and 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. Pacific Time on Sunday mornings. He is a self-described liberal Democrat. His producer is Steve Williams.

Rothmann also hosts KGO talk shows at other times when a regular host is on vacation or there is a vacancy.


John is also the host of a podcast called Fight for the White House (www.fightforthewhitehouse.us). This podcast explores the history of presidential elections in the United States through sound clips and music.
