John Richard Williams or J.R. Tryfanwy, often referred to simply by his bardic name Tryfanwy (1867 - 1924), was a Welsh language lyrical poet, born in the village of Rhostryfan in the old county of Caernarfonshire (Gwynedd), in north Wales.
