John Cole Reedman (born October 9, 1865, Gilberton, South Australia, died March 25, 1924, Gilberton, South Australia) was an Australian sportsman. As a cricketer he played in one Test, at the Sydney in 1894. He captained the South Australian cricket team in the Sheffield Shield. Reedman also had success as an Australian rules footballer in the (then) South Australian Football Association (SAFA)/South Australian Football League (SAFL) where he was a magnificent leader, playing in eight premierships as captain and one as coach during the early years of South Australian football.
In 1996 Reedman was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame. In 2002 he was inducted into the South Australian Football Hall of Fame.
