John Randall Reding

John Randall Reding (October 18, 1805October 8, 1892) was a U.S. Representative from New Hampshire.

Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Reding attended the common schools. He was apprenticed to the printer's trade and subsequently became an editor.

Reding was elected as a Democrat to the Twenty-seventh and Twenty-eighth Congresses (March 4, 1841-March 3, 1845).

He served as naval storekeeper at Portsmouth, 1853-1858, and as mayor of Portsmouth in 1860. He was a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, 1867-1870. He died in Portsmouth, October 8, 1892, and was interred in Haverhill Cemetery, Haverhill, New Hampshire.
