John Ramey (b. 23 May 1978) is an American-born singer, songwriter, and journalist living in Los Angeles. He is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Ramey is known to cite obscure anecdotes regarding Stanford and San Jose State sports as his father, Hal Ramey, broadcasted their games; young John became exceedingly familiar (perhaps obsessed) with the subjects of his father's work. His musical and songwriting style are rather transparently influenced by the Beatles and Bob Dylan.

Sales have been alleged by Ramey to be modest but steady.[citation needed]
