John Peter Whiteley

John Peter Whiteley is a first class cricketer. He was born on 28th February 1955 in Otley, Yorkshire and is a right arm off break and right handed batsman. He played 45 first class matches for Yorkshire CCC from 1978 to 1982 and 6 List A one day games in 1981. He took 70 wickets at 34.42 with a best of 4-14 against Nottinghamshire CCC and made a top score of 20 against Northamptonshire CCC.

He also appeared for Yorkshire Second XI from 1972 to 1982 and Gloucestershire Second XI in 1974.
