John Pearson (cricketer)

John Henry Pearson is a first class cricketer who played 3 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1934 to 1936. He also appeared for Yorkshire Second XI between 1933 and 1936.

A right handed batsman, he scored 54 runs with a best of 44 against Northamptonshire CCC. He also appeared against Derbyshire CCC and Kent CCC. In all he averaged 18. He did not bowl or take a catch in the field. He was born on May 14, 1915 in Scarborough, Yorkshire.
