John Paul Stevens High School is the one of 12 high schools in the Northside Independent School District located in San Antonio, Texas near SeaWorld San Antonio. John Paul Stevens High School is one of the largest high schools in the San Antonio area with roughly 3500 students in the 2007-2008 school year. The school's mascot is the Falcon. The school colors are red, silver, and black. Stevens High School was built with funds from the voter approved 2001 Bond Issue. Designed by PBK Architects, it was built by Bartlett Cocke Contractors at a cost of $50 million. The 398,000-square foot, state of the art school is two stories and has an abundance of natural light.
