Radio Personality John Osterlind born March 10th, 1967 in Norwalk, CT. Grew up in the New York City suburb, Fairfield, CT. Graduated Fairfield's Roger Ludlowe High School in 1985. One of his classmates, team-mates and friends' there was future Cleveland Indians pitcher, Charles Nagy. Graduated Dean Junior College in Franklin, MA in 1987, where he was on the college radio station, WGAO FM. First professional radio job was overnights on rock station WWRX-FM, Providence, RI. from 1987-1988. Went to rock station WCCC-FM Hartford, CT. from 1988-1992, where he did the evening show, then the afternoon show. Nicknamed the show, "Ozone". Went to WAAF-FM Boston, MA. Hosted the evening show from 1992-1994. Was Music Director/Mid-Day host from 1994-2001. Won Active Rock Personality of the year from "Radio and Records" in 1999. Won "Billboard" Rock Music Director of the year in 2000. Won "Gavin" award for Rock Personality of the year in 2000. Worked at 'AAF with Opie and Anthony, when they first started their show, and are friends. Went to 'AAF sister station AM 680 WRKO Boston to co-host the morning show with former MA Congressman Peter Blute from 2001-2004. Opened a rock bar/bbq restaurant in Miami Beach, FL., "The Scrap Bar & Smokehouse" in 2005. Sold it in 2008. Went back on the air in 2008, as afternoon host at FM Talk, WRNO-FM in New Orleans, LA.
